Jávea (Xàbia) Town Hall has published its summary of DANA Adam, a cut-off low bringing torrential rain. According to municipal reports from the Local Police and the services and works departments (Servicios y Obras), the emergency services took more than 180 calls over 32 hours. Of these, 120 (66.7%) came between 17:57 on Sunday 18 October and 00:45 on Monday 19 October.

In total, 141 people were evacuated and taken to a temporary shelter at the Sala Polivalente or to other safe places. Of these, 102 were from the El Naranjal campsite. The water rose quickly and light emergency vehicles could not get in, so people were brought out by heavy rescue lorry to a safe point and then taken on to the shelter. The incidents recorded include 48 flooded homes, 28 vehicles stuck in the water and 27 calls about landslips, washouts and collapsed ground. There were also 17 fallen trees on roads and 6 medical calls.

The heaviest rainfall was recorded at Balcón al Mar (429 litres per square metre), followed by Partida Lluca (356), Granadella (316), Montgó (307) and Pinosol (295). After the worst of the storm, several families were still living away from home because of landslip damage on Calle Richard Wagner. The published figures do not say how many families are affected or when they can return.
